Lee is a chartered engineer with a strong technical background and extensive mining finance experience. Prior to forming Rich Vein, Lee worked in the Mining and Metals team at Barclays Capital where he was responsible for the management and monitoring of technical, environmental and social aspects of all mining and metals transactions globally, and origination and execution of mining project finance and advisory business. Lee has spent over 20 years working exclusively in the mining and metals sector gaining on-mine operational experience with AngloGold in South Africa before joining SRK Consulting. Based in the South African and the UK offices, Lee specialised in managing due diligence studies and technical audits for internal and external financing, acquisition and mergers and independent competent person’s reports. Lee now specialises in advising junior companies and reviewing projects and companies for potential financiers and investors.
